Corbeau Baja XRS Seat in Black Vinyl

The Baja XRS seat is a seat that has been highly anticipated in the world of Jeeps as well as for trucks and indeed the entire off road community.  In fact, this suspension seat is the product of an advertising campaign by Corbeau where they asked off road enthusiasts to assist them in designing the ultimate in terms of a suspension seat that reclines.  The off road world responded enthusiastically and the result was the Baja reclining suspension seat.

It was only back 7 years ago when Corbeau changed the rules of the game in terms of suspension seats when they introduced the Baja RS which was one of the very first reclining suspension seats in the entire industry.  It was only three years after that when they realized that the ultimate in reclining suspension seats still hadn’t been found.

When you hear the term “suspension seat” what comes to mind immediately is off road driving.  That is because the whole purpose for suspension seating is to provide more comfort during those off road treks.  Corbeau wanted for those who have no desire to go off road to be able to experience the comfort of a suspension seat.  Simultaneously, they wanted to design a seat that would properly satisfy their off road clients.

Suspension seats are awesome for absorbing the energy from impact that would normally go straight to your back.  The suspension seats like the Baja XRS from Corbeau are made with memory foam that has been injection molded along with their very own proprietary suspension technology.  Other manufacturers will instead use cut foam which will quickly soften and then wear down which leaves your back absorbing all of that impact energy.

This Baja XRS seat has been made to be able to simply bolt in to all of the Jeep CJ 7s as well as the Jeep YJs.  It will also bolt in directly to many of the Jeep CJ5s.  In any other type of vehicle, it can still be used in conjunction with the custom brackets made by Corbeau. 

This seat is available in black vinyl and will fit anyone with a waist size of up to 42 inches.
